Hey everyone,

I had a problem before when I bought a GFX card and it didn't play well with my system. Original thread here.

So the solution was to replace my motherboard. A few months later and I finally have. Now I have turn on my game and I can play for at most a minute or two before my PC just freezes and hangs.

My current setup is:

GPU: MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 760
CPU: Intel i7 4770K @ 3.5GHz
Motherboard: ASUS Z97-Pro
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3
PSU: Corsair 750 Watts
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64bit

Any ideas? Before I could play and it would stutter (albeit really badly) but now I can't seem to even do that. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Perhaps an overheating issue, check your temps on idle and on load, turn logging on so you can review the results after the pc freezes

Would you say that my CPU is overheating or the graphics card?

Also, I plan on Googling it but JIC.. how would I turn logging on?

Most likely your GPU, but monitor your CPU as well, if using GPU-Z to monitor the gpu temps there's an option to check which says "Log to file".

It was the CPU. I bought a Corsair H75 liquid cooler and everything is gravy now.
