Upgrading the ram can increase the speed for the shared folders in server ?

Hello ,

i have server running with 16GB and we have soo much files shared in server , currently in process tab we use 15Gb from 16GB i wonder if i upgrade the Ram to 32GB can make it faster ?

If your RAM is at 16GB and you only have 16GB then the computer begins to rely on the hard drive for temporary data which greatly slows down the hard drive speeds which = slow file serving. Upgrading to 32GB would be a good idea.
