I was using my computer all day and when i got back from taking a shower i found my computer on the "loading operating system" screen. I restarted my computer and now it seems my usb ports don't work and it cannot get past the loading operating system screen. I also noticed that the loading operating system text takes a little longer to pop up than it always has and there are no different sounding beeps, the ethernet light is also lighting up. My theory is that either the chipset has gone bad in my motherboard, or my SSD could have failed. Ive been trying to fix this for a while and i just cannot do it, any help is appreciated.

Motherboard: gigabyte GA-970a-D3
CPU: AMD fx 8350 black edition
PSU: Corsair 750 watt
RAM: Corsiar vengeance 2x8
SSD: OCZ agility 64 gb (not sure but definitely around 64gb)
GPU: gigabyte radeon 7950 3gb
Operating system: windows 8.1 professional

Run Seatools for windows.

Check all cable connections inside the case. SATA cables and power.

Try the RAM modules one at a time to eliminate a bad module.

Pull the graphics card and try to use the onboard video.

What is the model number of your Corsair PSU?

Check to see that all fans including the CPU fan is operating normally and that there is no accumulated dirt, dust and hair in the heatsinks of the cpu, gpu or inside the psu. If there is there may be thermal damage to the cpu, gpu or psu.

If the unit is plugged into a power strip or ups, unplug it and plug it directly into the wall.

If possible, run memtest86 on the memory modules one stick at a time for 3-7 passes.

If you can get to the advanced boot menu, by pressing F8 or by holding the shift key and pressing F8, as soon as you power on and until you see the menu, you can try an automatic repair.

If none of these work let me know.
