I have a motherboard that has SLI disabled (asus p8z77-v lx )
I have two gtx 560's so I bought an sli bridge and downloaded a program called SLIhack to enable sli on my motherboard, installed it, restarted, chose windows 7 hypersli on startup.
When I open the nvidia control panel, there is no set sli configuration option but when I click on set physx configuration, my second gpu shows thats its there, but doesnt say that SLI is enabled.
I tried a game but didnt notice any difference. I am completely stuck as to what to do.
Below is a link to the nvidia control panel photo.

Yeah thats the initial video I watched to set it up, it only tells me how to install it but doesn't address my specific issue.

As I mentioned, that video is three years old and it stated within that it does not work with all drivers. Maybe it's been abandoned and simply doesn't work with newer cards. Best suggestion I have is to see if there is an SLIHack forum that is up to date and perhaps they can resolve your issue.

Edit: Also, are you familiar with DifferentSLI? Maybe this thread (more up to date) can help?

Yeah I thought the same thing but wouldnt that mean that my second gpu wouldnt show up at all in the nvidia control panel if the hack didnt work?

I have no idea what that program should or should not be doing. All I can guess at is that if the SLI configuration section does not show up in the NVidia Control Panel, then either the drivers you're using do not work, it's not compatible with your motherboard's chipset, or that there was an error in the install.
