Okay so I have tried overclocking the core clock on MSI Afterburner and my stable OC is +26mhz.......that is LOW compared to everyone else's OC. Thing is, I have done +50 and ran Furmark, Heaven, Kombuster, etc for hours and have had no stablility issues......until I play Battlefield 3 or 4. Can someone explain this to me? Is my card just one of those cards that can't OC well? Yes I have done my research, cannot find any answers after 2 months.

The 660s came out about 2 years ago. Update to say an Asus 780

Althought ASUS is good, I'm going with MSI as they are my favorite brand, much more overclockable too. plus it will match my mobo

Do you mean, it crashes when playing battlefield 4 man? Surely it is unstable overclock. Try to bump your voltage and run the furmark again, or unengine valley.

After doing so, try again playing.

Yes, the game crashes and shortly after a directx driver failure happens and then my computer resets its gpu settings back to factory default.
This specfic gpu does not allow for varrying voltage. The most i can do is raise the power limit to 110% and that has been done. So i found out that even +26 is unstable. +24 has not had any problems. But the problem still remains that ny card is overclocking terribly. I mean...+24??? While others (on the same card and other cards) are achieving +50 or more? Does boost clock automatically kick in or i there some way to turn it on? My boost clock on +24 reaches 1148mhz.
