8800 GT question

Solution
Processor wise the 8800GT isn't bad, semi to other lower end GPUs like the GT640. The big problem is has is most of them shipped with 256/512MB of ram, which just isn't enough for modern games. I would leave AA off on any modern games, and turn down any other settings that might need lots of Vram as well.

You'll have another issue in that most modern rigs aren't using their old 8800GT, so if you GPU needs an upgrade I'd bet the rest of your rig does as well. Time to start buying parts again.
