hi, I'm pretty much set on a 9590 instead of a fx8350 + M5A97 (m5a97=$40ish used mobo that barely runs an 8350 without OC'ing and can not run a 9590).
I don't want to OC ever.
I'd rather have the extra .7 ghz the 9590 offers over the 4ghz 8350 even though if I upgrade GPU from my 1GB radeon HD770, then I'll need to upgrade my 550W basiq antec certified PSU which I was told barely can run the 9590 but will be fine as long as I don't upgrade other stuff like a high-end cooler or GPU.
What's the cheapest mobo to run a 9590 non OC'd? And which non-water heatsink should I get? Hyper 212 evo?
I don't want to have to adjust anything on the mobo to disable the 9590 boost to 5ghz or anything like that, basically just want plug and play. Is the 990FX Extreme9 okay then, or is there something cheaper? Everyone suggest the sabertooth 990fx r2 for a 9590 but the 990FX Extreme9 is easier to buy used without getting into a bidding war and possibly letting the deal pass. I'm trying to save money of course.
Lastly, when a mobo is for sale used and it says 'no cables included, only motherboard included', what are these cables and can I get them cheap? Are these just the data cables for SSD and optical drive? Currently I just have IDE and mechanical hard drive. My optical is ancient so I'm not sure if it has SATA. I tried looking and it doesn't look like it does.
thanks
