So I have main speakers connected to my computer back I/O board with the main center speaker 3.5 mm output. But I also have a surround system in my room that i'd like to use for music mainly. Is there a way I'd be able to configure that I only hear music go through the surround speakers (again using a different 3.5mm audio cord) and everything else like YouTube videos and games go through the desk speakers? A program, device, anything that can make this possible. Or i'm just being kinda stupid lol. Thanks in advance!

Not enough info on the connection options of the desk speakers and surround system. Only way I can see would be to split the front outputs to both setups but you would have to change settings or outputs manually.
