I bought my computer last year from cyber power, and it was overclocked by them.
Specs- cpu:i7-4820k, mobo-Asus p9x79, water cooling.
Overclocking : 4.5Ghz , Voltage-1.45v, Temp -42-45C most times.
Right now i am not really thinking about performance, I only care about life span.So should I change the voltage? If yes what do you recommend? Is it bad to keep the same speed(4.5) when reducing the voltage? If i want to make the speed range between 4.2-4.3Ghz what is the recommended voltage?

Solution
I'd try and see if it can be lowered, I'd guess they just set to 1.45 and see if it works, I doubt they try any fine tuning, might even be able to run 4.6 at the same voltage, have seen people run 4.8 and better at 1.45
