I have a question regarding my TP-Link TL-SG1016 16-port Gigabit; why only one port has a connection to the internet and the rest don't?
This switch is connected in a server room to a Ethernet sockets panel which should be providing internet to Ethernet socket in the office 1 floor above.
The only socket which is working is linked to the router, but when I try to connect computer to Ethernet socket linked to the switch, the message comes up that it's unidentified network and there is no internet connection.
Anyone can advice me what is wrong?

Is the switch itself the problem? Can you swap the switch for another and see if the issue persists?

I don't have a different switch and I wouldn't want to buy it if it's not necessary. Anything else I can check?

From your post it sounds like NO ports work on the switch, is that correct? You said it works on the router but not on the switch? Exactly what is the layout in the network, what is connected to what? Did you try different network cables? Test the cabe directly to a computer that you are putting into the switch. Also the switch may have an uplink port, if it does, use that to connect it to the network.
