For your statement "don`t mind the budget" I`ll suggest the R9 280.
Best mid range card. :)

I plus the r9 280. Or If you feel iffy on the r9 280, go ahead and get a 7870.

Thanks for the reply guys... but?....
According to >>> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... Specification <<<

The R9 280x need...
750W (or greater) power supply with one 150W 8-pin and one 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connector recommended

1000W (or greater) power supply with one 150W 8-pin and one 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connector recommended for AMD CrossFire technology in dual mode

They over do the official requirements... the 280x on full load consumes around 350w by itself.. But go for the r9 280 like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Will my EVGA 500watts PSU can handle this card and the entire system? or I should upgrade my PSU also?
and the other thing.. any bottle-necking between my A8 6600k and R9 280?... thanks again for the help... :)

At higher video setting, yes it will bottleneck some games. And your 500w will be fine. If you have the extra money laying around, I would recommend on buying another cpu + motherboard as the A series isn't made for high-end gaming.

Man Dazinek, you are correct I do agree with you but one thing I disagree that A series can also handle intense gaming. I`m using the Kaveri and I can get stable FPS in ultra settings. Stable as in solid rock stable.

All in all I agree with you, but I`m not sure about the PSU, I`m running 7970 with 600W PSU, I`m not sure for 500W.

I really appreciate your help and for that #X99fast reply...... ^^ and for now....................R9 280 coming up ... :)

Nice choice. It`s better to get the R9 280 OC edition so that you have room for Overclocking if you will decide to upgrade. Performance will be lightly slower than the 280X.
