Hi everyone,

I've been having troubles with a 4 day old build with the following specs:
CPU: Core i7 5960X
Mobo: Gigabyte X99 UD5 Wifi
GPU: XFX DD R9 270X x2 Crossfire
RAM: 32GB Crucial DDR4 2133MHz
HDD: Samsung Evo 500GB
PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 1300W

Initially, the computer worked alright, but I began to notice a problem with the computer in which any game would soft crash with the message "display driver stopped responding and has recovered". Shortly before this, I would get a fair amount of audio distortion, which is interesting, because I was using the GPU's onboard HDMI audio output. Monitoring the temps in afterburner revealed no abnormalities. Disabling Crossfire would prolong the amount of time I could play before the issue happened.

Today, something new happened. I returned to my desk to find that the computer had powered off. Thinking nothing of it, I went to turn it on again, and found that the power button had no effect. No lights, no fans, no nothing. I tried switching outlets and reseating the PSU cables to no avail. One thing I noticed while trying this is that one LED on the motherboard would sometimes briefly come on for less than half a second when I would flip the PSU to its on state. Otherwise, the LEDs that normally show up when the PSU is plugged in and in the on position remain off.

Do you think I can chalk this up to PSU failure, or might it be something else?

Looks like one of your cards is faulty. Try just the top one. Then swap over and see if one is worse than the other.

Also check if everything is plugged in 100%

No dice. Even removing both cards won't do it. The mobo is still behaving as if no/inadequate power is coming in.

Try to back the mobo default settings and try again and check RAM slots and at last try other PSU from any of your friends ...

Have you got both motherboard connectors from the power supply plugged fully in?
