My laptop has two HDD Bays and I am wondering if i can set up raid on it

Hi v1234. It depends on your laptop, but most of them with two hard drive slots usually have the RAID option in the BIOS (you'll just have to check). You should make sure your slots are in RAID mode in the BIOS, and then you may have to boot to your RAID controller to set up the RAID. Just remember to get the same capacity drive as yours. And backup your data before you start with this, just to be on the safe side.

The computer probably came with a RESTORE or RECOVERY partition as well. Make sure you have created the disks/USB stick to do that, because you'll be wiping that out. And when your RAID dies or is corrupted, you'll be reloading that USB/Recovery Disks again. And maybe a few more times.
