Sorry, as I'm sure this type of question gets asked a lot, but I recently broke my old (and admittedly low quality) headphones that I was using on my PC and need to replace them ASAP. I listen to a few hours of music a day, so this will be the main goal of my new set. I also do a lot of gaming, so I would love it if something had a mic option, but I am not opposed to buying a mic separately if need be. I have just a few requirements for this set, but the amount of options that are out there are just astounding.

1. I have a fairly wide head. I was using the Sony MDR-ZX100 beforehand, and those fit quite well when extended. I have had issues in the past with smaller headsets giving me headaches though. I also have a strong preference for on-the-ear as opposed to over-the-ear. Comfort almost trumps audio quality for me as I will be using these extensively.

2. I need something with a detachable cord. I have an issue with cords and I'm not looking to end a pair's life early because of this. Wireless is obviously fine, but probably out of the price range.

3. Price is an issue. I'm not impoverished, but I'd like to keep the set around $50-70 if possible. I could go up to ~$100 if there were a huge jump in quality. These concerns are listed in order, so price is the least strict of my requirements.

There are just so many companies and choices out there, and all the reviews differ so greatly; I just don't know where to start. Here are two headphones that seemed to fit what I was looking for best during my search, but for all I know, these are actually bad choices:

Thank you for your time. Any help is greatly appreciated! My ignorance is strong!
