MSI AMD/ATI R7 250 2GD3 OC 2 GB DDR3 work on a Gigabyte G41-M Combo Mobo + an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor ?

Hey guys i need help, would the MSI AMD/ATI R7 250 2GD3 OC 2 GB DDR3 work with a Gigabyte G41-M Combo mobo + with an Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 2.53 GHz , and would it bottleneck or not ? Need a solution fast as possible.. Thanks.

Which revision on the mb? 1.3, 1.4 or 2.0?

Well, the good news is that the board supports DDR3 instead of only DDR2 like the 1.3 revision. The bad news is, I don't think that board supports any current cards. I can't find a PCIe specification for that board to be certain, but usually when they just say PCIe x16 with no indication of 2.0 or 3.0 it generally is only a 1.1 or 1.0. That would mean the GPU card you want to use would not, I think, work with it.

The revision 2.0 of that board I believe to be PCIe 2.0 so that would have worked if you had that one. I could be wrong on this, possibly, but since I can't find any verification of the PCI spec for that board it's hard to be absolutely certain. Contact Gigabyte and ask them to verify what PCI version that board has. Be sure to tell them it's revision 1.4.

Ok, Then would the Sapphire R7 250 DDR5 with 1Gb Boost fit my profile rig ?
