Hey guys,

Summer is fast approaching and last summer my stock fx 6300 barely survived on the stock cooler with temps in the room at 33 degrees Celsius. I'm looking to oc my system with good temps and im just wondering what is the best cpu air cooler or liquid cooling product on the market? My budget is about 150 dollars and my case can only support air coolers up to 155 mm, which makes it hard to buy a good air cooler, but shouldn't affect the choices of liquid cooling.

Factors to consider
Easy installation for amd (total noob and dont want to destroy my pc, already have a minor scratch on the mobo)
Quiet
should be able to oc the chip without temps going to 60 degress
Looks good

Specs of my current pc
FX 6300 stock settings
R9 270x
8 gb kingston 1337 ddr3 ram
Corsair cx 500
Asrock 970 extreme 3 r2.0
Thermaltake commander ms-iii

if anyone can suggest a easy to install cooling setup that would be awesome thanks.

Sorry for crap grammar

For air cooling, if you can't fit a D14 or D15, the Noctua NH-C14 is very good alternative:

You'll have to decide on the looks - Noctua fans are so ugly, they're beautiful :)  Hard to beat the performance though.

Noctua coolers are very easy to mount. I would get the C14 over the H80i, but if you can fit the H100i, I'd go for that one.

i find your information useful, but im not really sure, i want to take out my mobe of the case. I had a alot of troubles getting it into the case, as it was a few mm off the standoff and the mobo holes, i think my case has a cut out. I also found out the h80i uses the same backplate for amd am3+ mobo's so it shouldn't be too hard.

Thanks for your answer
