I currently run an Intel Core i7 2700K desktop with a GTX 680 GPU, 120 GB SSD and 2 TB HDD, and 16 gigs of RAM and I am looking to upgrade to a Mac computer and I found on eBay some dual-processor PowerPC G5 computers going for under $200 with more than 4 gigs of RAM.
How powerful are the dual processor PowerPC G5s? Are they more powerful than one Core i7? Can they run photoshop, lightroom, SPSS, and other intensive programs well?
