Wondering what I would need to run this monitor comfortably on current games, at high/ultra settings.

Only time I would be looking at utilizing the full 144FPS consistently, would be online (mostly FPS, BF4 etc) and I would have the graphics at custom settings anyway to ensure it stays above 150fps as much as possible.

Would an EVGA GTX780 SC SLI setup paired with i7-4790k be enough to last me a while?
Or would a single GTX780Ti be enough for current games and leave me with a better option to SLI in the future?

Also since the screen is also 1440p I was wondering if one of the 6GB versions of the GTX780/780Ti would be better suited? I've noticed they usually have a much lower core clock than the SC cards, would they be safety clocked up to the same settings as EVGA SC cards have?

Havent experimented too much with overclocking yet, so would rather a pretty decent 'out of box' setup..

TIA and sorry for any incompetence lol

Its a 1440p monitor. The 780 with i7 would be fine. A 780Ti would be even better. 3GB is more than enough.
