Hi I am planning on building a new computer soon and I will mostly be playing skyrim with enbs and other graphic mods, I am wondering if skyrim supports crossfire and what kind of performance I can expect from dual r7 265s if it does. Thanks

Skyrim with mods requires a lot of video memory.
For anything where you would benefit from SLI, 2GB of VRAM isn't going to be enough.
At 2560x1440 resolution and the lite version of high res texture mods, I have to disable MSAA.
With these settings, the GPU grunt of two R7 265s is overkill.
You would be better off with a R9 280X.

I also don't know about your cards performance, but it runs great with my dual R9 290X's or my dual 780 Ti's.

No. Each card maintains it's own memory, they don't share.
Every texture or frame for card 1 has to be stored in its local VRAM, and the same goes for card 2.
