Hey guys, so I'm a hardcore FIFA (sports computer/console game) fan, and this year I tried the latest version and my laptop couldn't handle it sadly, due to the new engine the game uses.
So, I need to get a new laptop (don't suggest desktops please, I'm a very mobile person) and have done a bit of research, what do you guys reckon of the specs of this one?http://www.dell.com/au/p/inspiron-14-7447-laptop/pd?oc=...

Alternatively, do you have any other options that are better for around the same price? What do you think of those specs, would they perform well on most high end games?
Cheers guys, appreciate any help :)

Nice laptop at that price point. Could definitely handle FIFA at medium-high settings. If you want a laptop that plays nearly every game at high settings, look for a laptop with a GTX 860M 2GB. Both the 850M and 860M 2GB are on the same Maxwell architecture, which is more efficient and will save you battery.

Thanks mate. I'm having a tough time finding a known brand that has the 860m (known brand only because if I have issues I know they'll be fixed quickly), what do you think of Metabox and their reputation? Have you heard of them before? This is the laptop I was thinking of from them, if you would be so kind please cast your eye over it :)

Or am I going in the wrong direction do you think? Cheers btw mate

Personally I have not heard of them but it looks good . An alternative may be the lenovo y50. It should be in your price range and has received good reviews.

Thanks for the input guys, I really appreciate it. The Lenovo's do look good, but reviews say they're flimsy, terrible screen and don't cool very well at all, I wanna make sure I get a laptop that's solid and will last me at least 3 years.
I've been doing some more hunting, and this laptop looks like an absolute god send. $1300, Nvidia 870m GPU, i7 4700 Hz CPU, Full HD and overall very good stats. What do you guys reckon, worth 1300?

Not a half bad deal however, if you're not in a rush I constantly visit a site called bensbargains.net and you can find a WAY better deal if you just wait a bit. They constantly have Dell products too if you like their brand
