Hello there. So first time around I bought RAMs that were way to hasty for my motherboard, even the volts were off.

So in the panic of not making the same mistake, I made some research. on which speed my motherboard would follow and got these: 800mhz - 1066 mhz - 1333 mhz.
So on my search for rams, all I could find was 1600 mhz, the only lower than that was for MAC. So once again to the mighty search engine, I found people telling, that I could calmly buy 1600Mhz, because they would slow down to 1333mhz by default.

So I bought a pair of Vengeance 1600 2x8GB 1600MHZ and set it up in my PC, but it doesn't work. When starting the computer, I get to my motherboard screen (the first screen at all), and the computer restarts. I went into the BIOs to see if I could solve my trouble there, but nothing was changeable as far as I located.

Anyone can help? Am I going to return another pair of ram or what is going on? :(

You should be able to down-clock the ram in bios.

Try with a single stick and see if you can get to BIOS by holding down F2. In BIOS set DRAM to 9-9-9-27, 1.5 and see if it boots. If so, add the other stick.

Thank you, I will try that and return.

I can't get into BIOs by any means with the new RAM plugged in. It simply just shows the screen where it tells what to hold down to get where, and then the PC restarts :/

Oh well, looks like you have to buy 1333 ram then. What country are you in? Where do you want to buy from?

You should be able to return your 1600 ram and tell them it doesn't work because its not compatible with your motherboard.

Well I've seen other people post about they got 1600MHZ for the exact same motherboard as me? :/  1600MHZ for GA-P55-USB3 :s

EDIT: Would there be a change the problem would be solves, if I inserted my old RAM, changed the BIOs settings and then inserted new ones?

At least it'd get your PC going again. I'd then take the 1600 ram back and get a refund then look for 1333 ram.

Again - What country are you in? Where do you want to buy from?

I do really doubt, that it's the problem in this case :/  When I only can get to boot screen, neither into BIOs or anything. All I can do while in the boot screen is to click on "Tab" to change the boot screen appearance
