my GTX650 is almost 2 yrs old. and recently it started performing very bad.
before that happened, i have avg 45 fps on AC IV max settings
now, i have 10 fps even with all other programs closed. (very low settings)
and when i play games, it lowers down the GPU Clock from about 1058 to 324
even my old, Sparkle GT220 perfoms better. sadly, my buddy trashed it
now, when i play games, i use EVGA precision to lock the card's core clock to its boost clock.
but still, i only get avg 20fps on AC IV (very low settings)
tried updating the drivers. aand things got worse.

Yeah, unless the heatsink has somehow gotten loose, it's probably dieing...

Have you checked the temperatures while gaming?
If it's heating up like crazy, it'll throttle down. (if it's rounding around 100C, that would explain it)

[strike] Have you done any thing to that could have affected performance such as a driver update recently?[/strike] My bad didn't see that sentence. You should try uninstalling your drivers completely with this guide and see if that helps.

But usually if it's throttling back the clock speed, then it might be overheating so you'll want to be sure that your card's heatsink is firmly fastened to the GPU and clean out all dust and residue from your card as well as reseating it.

Depends on the prices and if you're going to OC or not, but 660TI is the most powerful one out of those three...
