How good is this keyboard?

Solution
the k90 keyboard is basically a bigger version of the k70 with macro keys on the side.

you can program your own macro keys with the autohotkey software which is freeware and rather powerful although has a slight learning curve.

if the op isnt opposed to knock-offs then the tesoro lobera supreme offers some decent features for a rather fair price. it uses knock off mechanical keys similar to cherrys, has rgb backlighting and comes with some programable software. the well known maxkeyboard brand even sells one of their products on its own page (it sells the durandal) so it must be of fair quality for even a fairly high end company to stand behind it.

The Vengeance K70 is pretty highly regarded when it comes to mechanical keyboards. The general consensus is that it's a very high quality board that is minimalist in design without the frills that other keyboards might come with. It lacks macro keys and doesn't come with any software to reprogram the keys, so it's not the best option if those are things you want. There is also the K70 RGB, which offers macro capabilities and a broad spectrum of backlight colors to choose from.
