Hello guys. I have recently a problem with my computer

When i turn it on, after about 5 seconds it shuts down itself, alone, than turns itself on again, after about 5 sec again shutting itself down and so on.

Any idea what it might be? I am thinking either the GPU or the PSU.

PC Specs:

CPU: i7 3770 LGA 1155 (not overclocked)
Graphic card: Sapphire Radeon R9 280x Dual-X
Rams: 2x Kingston 4GB (module name: Kingston ACR512X64D3U13C9G)
Mobo: Acer Aspire M3985
PSU: Thermaltake Berlin 630w 80plus
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1000DM003
SDD: Samsung EVO 840 250GB

I tryed the following:

DIsconnecting the SSD and turning it on on the HDD, same problem
Disconnecting the HDD and turning it on the SSD, same problem
Removing 1 of the rams, same problem (switching to another ram, same)
Removing the GPU, same problem.

I than tryed with another gpu: Radeon HD 7440, it worked. (the hd 7440 doesnt have the extra power input from the psu, thats why i think it might be the psu)

Some times it will turn completly on.

well the thing is i have a power measure outlet, so it shows me than when in games, at full load, my pc takes (with the monitor and the speakers) arround 300 to 350watts. so....how come a 630w psu cant handle a system that doesnt need more than 300watts

Depends upon the quality of the PSU. There are comments in other threads about the variable qualities of similarly rated PSU. Given that this is a recent problem, it is still an indication of a potentially failing PSU regardless of its rate.

any ideas what psu i should buy ? not something that costs like 1k euros. something..fairly cheap but good quality for my system. im thinking of buying the gtx 780 in the future. with sleved cables would also be nice for the looks

Sorry, I am not sufficiently knowledgeable to advise on the appropriate PSU. There are a number of threads on Tom's Hardware that would help. By the way I was going to ask if the PSU or machine is still under any warranty, as that mau provide a route for you to have the problem fully identified.

yes the PSU only is under warranty, 2 months old. everything else is not anymore. (well except the corsair h100i cpu watercooling and the SSD)
