here is what i already have:

and i suppose an Intel i7 processor but which one??

i will be using my system for gaming and also i recently signed up for a VFX course so here is a list of programs i will be using on the system:

What specific version of Windows is it: 32 bit or 64 bit, home version, professional version, ultimate version?

What is the specific model of the RAM?...I will make up a PC based on buying RAM in case it is not compatible with the setup. But it may be okay to use the RAM you already have.

The components inside a computer do not have to all be from the same brand, so you can get whatever reliable brand motherboard you want. It is just important that the components you pick out are compatible with each other. Since you are using the programs that you are, I would recommend going with at least and i5, but preferably an i7 CPU because of the hyper threading and a comparable motherboard...along with 16 GB of RAM (but a minimum of 8 GB).

What sort of budget are you going to have? And does that include the operating system, monitor, keyboard/mouse?

Since you already have the GPU, PSU, and OS I left those out. I also left out the keyboard and mouse because you can get whatever you want. I did not pick a overclocking setup to save money. This will at least give you a baseline idea.

hey.. thanks for the insight. i'll looked through and i decided i'd go for the i7 4790 instead of the 15 4430. so should i stick to the motherboard you suggested or get a better one?? its a windows 7 ultimate and a corsair 4gb 1600mhz ram, but i'll be getting another 4gb or 8..

hey.. sorry for replying back so late.. well i was just replying to your questions about the OS and RAM i have. Anyway like you said picking the i7 4790 instead of the 15 4430 is indeed pushing me beyond my budget so i managed to get another 10000INR. so based on the PC you picked up for me i did some research and here is the list:
Processor- i7 4790
Motherboard- ASUS Z97-K Motherboard or ASRock Z87 Extreme4 Motherboard (or maybe the Z series is not worth it??)
Storage- Seagate Barracuda 2 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (ST2000DM001)
Monitor- the one you mentioned
and the rest ill go for something cheaper. what do you say?
