Hi All
I have been going through my Laptops & external hard drives recently and found that every thing is a mess with 10 years worth of photos across 2 laptops and 3 external drives.
I am looking consolidate everything to a single NAS drive that can be accessed by all in my Home. The one thing I am interested in doing though is creating a monthly back up that is then taken offsite just in case the worst thing ever happened and my house caught fire or was flooded.
I am looking for suggestions on this.
I was thinking of using a WD EX4 device with 2 x 3TB Drives in RAID1 (its all the space I need at the moment but can see me wanting the expansion capabilities and) and then getting another 6TB Drive (again to allow for expansion) that I can slot in once a month and copy the data to an take it off site. Does this sound feasible or should I be looking at another set up.
Thanks all in advance for your cooperation and suggestions in advance
Andy
