led lights on after shutdown

after shutting down my lenovo g570, windows 7 os, the screen goes off but all the led lights are still on. Then i need to hold the power button to shut my laptop off. I even tried for clean boot but of no use. I even tried of shutting down in safemode by clean boot but now shutdown screen is freezed.
please help me

Sounds like it isn't actually fully shutting down. Just remember it'll run down the battery quicker since it isn't completely off. Since it's a laptop it might be more useful for you to use sleep or hibernate instead of shutdown. It's getting most of the way there but no completely. Make sure all the drivers are updated and run a virus scan. Have you made any changes recently?
