will core2duo work in D946GZIS motherboard?

i have 2 computers , the pc with core2duo processor does not work because its motherboard has some problems, but the pc with the mobo D946GZIS with pentium 4 works good, so can i put the core2duo processor in the D946GZIS motherboard, will it work ? plz reply

as long as the core 2 duo you chose fsb is supported by the motherboard then it should work just fine..
i highly doubt that there will be any problem with using the core 2 duo processor in your motherboard

fsb means "Front Side Bus" this affects the speed of the processor .. your using core 2 duo so its either 800mhz ,1066mhz or 1333mhz .. whioch of these numbers do you see on your processor ?
the physical processor itself..look on the back part of it for the one of the 3 numbers listed and post it

yes the speed of my processor is 1333mhz,my processor is core2duo e6750
