Hi, im trying to play Terraria through rj45 crossover but the connection just hangs. My desktop is winXP and laptop is a samsung R540. Ive tried other games like MOHAA, Minecraft and Dungeon Defenders, all cant connect. are there any settings that might be preventing the connection between my laptop and desktop?

1. Type "cmd" in the windows start menu to open up the command prompt. Now type "ipconfig /release" and then "ipconfig /renew", and test if the connection got better. If it didnt work, proceed to step 2, 3 and 4.
2. Now type "ipconfig" and take a screenshot.
3. In cmd, type "ping google.com" and take another screenshot.
4. Again in cmd, type "nslookup google.com" and take a screenshot again.
Post all the three screenshots here so I can have a look at your problem.
