Graphics card (PCI-Express 2.0) on motherboard (PCI-express 3.0)

Is a graphics card running PCI-Express 2.0 compatible with a motherboard that has PCI-Express version 3.0, or is it going to cause any problems?

no issues alls good my board is pcie3 and my card is a pcie2

Yes, they're completely compatible.
Obviously you won't get the benefits of PCIe3 on a PCIe2 card though.

They are backwards compatible, you won't saturate the bandwidth of 2.0 yet any ways so you won't see any performance hit.
