Hi!

I have MSI GT70 2PC Dominator 17" laptop and I noticed it gets overheated during heavy gaming so I want a pad to cool it off. I can keep temps down by using cooler booster but it's just extremely loud. I'd be satisfied if I can keep temps under 80 Degrees Celsius without Cooler Booster.

Specs:
CPU: i7-4700mq
RAM: 8 GB 1600Mhz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 870m
Screen resolution: 1080p (1920x1080)

The laptop itself is pretty big and heavy, it's 17 Inches and weights over 3.5kgs.

I've checked around forums and people talk a lot about Cooler Master Notepal x3 saying that it's a good pad but I can't seem to find the benchmarks (how much it cools the laptop).

I've also checked around and found one from Thermaltake

I'd like to know which one of these two will be the best. If any of you have one or can give me a web-page with benchmarks on how these work I'd be extremely happy.

I also found one which says is made for GT70 called "LB1 High performance super cooling fan" but I'm not sure how good it is since there are no reviews for it anywhere.

I'm also open to new suggestions if you have any other good ones I'm fine with that.

I want the pad to look good but I also want it to perform. I want it to cool my laptop and be a quite as possible.

Performance overrules the loudness so keep that in mind. I want it to be not as loud as damn Cooler Booster because when I turn that on I get the feeling that somewhere near there's a helicopter taking off...

Also, price should be around $30-40 I don't want to pay more than that.

Thank you very much and have a good day!

the cooler master notepal x3 looks like a pretty fair choice to me. perhaps not the best out there but certainly not the worst.

some general idea of performance is listed here http://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/accessories/cooler-master-notepal-x3

the antec laptop cooler 200 http://www.notebookreview.com/notebookreview/antec-notebook-cooler-200-review/ looks to have more airflow cfm so might be abit more powerful than even the notepal

its also possible to build and even more powerful laptop cooler then what is commonly available by using some case fans and a homemade base of some sort but i dont think this is up your alley.
