Hello All - I am wanting to upgrade my MoBo's memory to it's full 8GB's max, since it has only 4GB's right now. I want to use - G.SKILL Ripjaws X (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 Memory, in place of my 2 matching sticks of Crucial that are only DDR3 1066 (2x2GB). My OS is Win 7 Pro 64Bit and my CPU is an Intel 3.0 E8400, and my PSU is an Antec VP-450. Thanks to all who reply and for your help, Have a Great Afternoon....

Im not sure what your question is, but im sure that memory will work. The important thing is if its a DDR3 motherboard, which it is, and if your CPU can use 1333mhz ram. So check the compatibility of you CPU with that speed ram

For 1600 will have to OC the FSB to at least 1333 if not already there, but should be OK, may need to add a little extra voltage to the NB (your MC (memory controller) voltage) as well as CPU is OCing the FSB to 1333 as it will OC the CPU also

Thanks Lukey_AMD & Tradesman1 for your input & help, and G.Skill just wrote me back and said that this MeM(G.SKILL Ripjaws X (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333) will work fine with my set-up & MoBo. And just in time too - as I just won a used matching set on eBay for $47.63, with a 30 day warranty from the seller & will receive them Friday the 12th. Thanks Again & Have a Great Evening.....

Hello Tradesman1 - I sent the MeM back and received a full Refund, and then purchased 2 sticks of Corsair Vengeance Blue DDR3 1600 from Newegg.com. These work great and the my MoBo saw them and re-set speed to 1333, so I didn't have to go into Bio's and change it. Thought I'd let you know, after Foxconn said that I could use 1600 after all. Thanks again for everyone's time and input to my question, Have a Great Weekend....
