Hey everyone!

I'm still not so familiar with virtual audio cable, so, I don't know if what I want to do is possible...

Whenever I want to use my headset I need to put in the USB transmitter, and if I want to listen to my speakers, either I have to disconnect the USB, or disable the Headset (or set Speakers on my integrated sound card as default)...

This is a bit of a problem if you don't have an easy and fast way to do it (which I don't, I do it manually), but it's much more troublesome if you are using DXtory to record some of your gameplay.

I was thinking to Add a new audio track for each set of speakers, but that would give me much more files to check and manage, and I was thinking, that maybe, if it was possible to somehow redirect audio from both devices to a single cable, retaining the posibility to enable or disable the headset, that would stop the sound comming from the other set of speakers, while separating my comms from the ingame audio...

I've seen a couple of videos about virtual audio cable, but they're all after different goals, so I figured I would ask the experts....

In the other hand, it would be nice if someone can recommend a way to disable my headset with a hotkey or something (i've tried AHK without much luck).

Any help will be appreciated.

.::UPDATE::.

There's a way to do it, but it will require other tool plus VAC.

I'm setting my 3 audio sources like this:
Speakers in my Integrated card
My corsair v2000
1 VAC called game (so I know better which im using)
1 VAC called incoming comms (for people talking to me
Both VAC audio options should be listened through your default device for gaming (in my case the v2000)

In DxTory settings, your audios should be
Game VAC
default Microphone (V2000 in my case)
incoming comms for your teammates

With this set up, you should get Audio Switcher from SourceForge, and set some hotkeys so you can change your default audio device in a faster way
For me, config is as follows:
Ctrl+F9: Speakers in my onboard audio goes default
Ctrl+F10: Speaker in my V2000 goes default
Ctrl+F11: VAC Game goes default but output goes to my V2000

Hope this helps
