Overclocked Monitor, any possible issues?

I have an Acer H236HLbid which runs at 60hz, and I decided to oc it to 75hz, which worked perfectly fine, and even feels smoother. Although I haven't done anything intensive yet, like gaming, what are some precautions I should take if any? I see a lot of mixed feelings over oc'ing monitors. Some people say it's perfectly fine, and others say it can completely wreck your monitor..? Thanks!

I'm sure you run some level of risk by over clocking it but I really don't know how realistic it is. I personally have one of the Korean 1440p monitors currently over clocked to 96Hz and have had no issues what so ever.

I have done it on one of my previous monitors before I bought the RoG Swift. It ran for several months while I used it until I upgraded monitors. I personally never had an issue, but the only risks are that if you OC your monitor it has a much higher chance of failing, and you can't RMA the display since it is modified from its intended conditions and therefore not covered by your original warranty. If you accept these risks, go ahead with it.
