my rig:-
Cooler master case 431 elite
Intel 4670k
MSI z87 g43 gaming motherboard
MSI 770 2gb Card
Kingston Ram 8gb
Cooler master 600watts thunder psu

when i oc my card it shut down my computer...why ?

Most likely too much power is being drawn through your PSU. The minimum recommended wattage requirement for the 770 is 600 watts so when overclocking it will use more. In reality though, and not on paper, you should be fine when not overclocking. The 770 at max capacity should only use 250-275 watts. I would not push your PSU too far since it just pasts the minimum wattage requirement.

Look for something that has a v12 rail of anything higher than 42 amps and is higher than 600w. Post your results before you buy.
