The classic 8 vs 16

Hello, Basically I'm getting a new rig, and I've always used 8gb of RAM in the past, but I'm curious, is the extra 8 (totally 16 naturally) worth it for me? Essentially, I'm your average gamer, who occasionally streams (ok, very rarely streams*) but uses photoshop for digital art in the form of sketches, not photo/video editing...which leads me to think that 8 will be sufficient, but I'm just checking to be sure :)

Solution
8 will suffice, but if in the budget, I'd get the 16GB now, there's no guarantees that adding DRAM will work with old (even same exact model), not to mention prices will continue to rise as the manufacturers put more and more resources into DDR4 production

Thanks for the advice folks. Decided to go for the 16, as I'd rather have it and not need it, as opposed to needing it and not having it.

Just means less pizzas for a while to fit it into the budget ^^
