RAID mirrored array, Array - 0 with 2 x 250gb drives 00 and 01, primary 00 crashed so replaced it with hot swap backup, now it won't mirror, says drive is missing and now array shows up as Array - 0 and Array - 1 both with a single drive... not sure how or why it went from a 2 drive mirror to 2 single drive arrays, but is currently running in degraded mode with no way to mirror. drive 00 has always been the original but drive bay 01 is hot swapped every week with a new drive and mirror is rebuilt to it. using Intel Matrix Storage Manager software

go into your raid manager and mark the new drive as the spare and then, if the rebuild doesn't happen automatically, go ahead and start it.
