I have an old external Seagate barracuda hardrive that no longer turns on. I have important data on it, so I purchased a USB3.0 to SATA 22Pin Data Power Cable Adapter to extract the data from it. When I connect the hardrive to the sata usb, the device shows up in the control panel but it does not appear in my computer under devices with removable storage. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me fix this problem? I would appreciate it. Thank you.
