I built my first pc 2-3 weeks ago and have a problem. After completing the build I plugged in my monitor to begin setting everything up but I had no display and no post beep (there is a speaker on the motherboard). My Motherboard is displaying the q code 00. I am fairly certain I have power going to every component. Since then I have been trying to solve my problem by browsing the forums and think that It could either be a dead Ram problem, a shorted motherboard or a faulty cpu.
One silly mistake that I stupidly made was to seat my motherboard and all other components into my chasis and turn it on with out stand offs in place. Could this have shorted my motherboard?
