Well the story started with the PC of my dad. I had bought an 8GB Crucial kit (2x4GB) but that didn't work with his CPU. So I swapped my (also a crucial 8GB kit) for his kit. This time his PC worked but now I have a weird problem. When I boot up my PC it gives an error message that the system failed to boot up several times before (but it hasn't) and then just boots up and works fine. I am using an Asrock 970 pro 3 r2.0 as motherboard and an amd fx6300 CPU. Anyone has an idea to fix this?

Are you getting the BIOS message or the Windows message?

Put th eother RAM back, see if that fixes the problem. If it does, send the RAM back for replacement.
