I'm building for the first time. The Hyper 212 Evo blocks the first slot for RAM. I have 2 x 4GB RAM cards. This is what it says about memory in the motherboard manual:

Is this the right way to install my two RAM cards then?

According to the manual's diagram, I have put the two cards in DIMM_B1 and DIMM_B2.

Will this work? Or do I need to put the cards in A1 and B1/A2 and B2?

Thanks in advance.

Solution
Yes , use the second and forth slots

Or if you have an intel mb you may just be able to turn the cooler around so it blows directly upwards . Works well if you have a top extractor fan in the case
