What's up guys. I just received my new GPU (HIS Radeon R9 270X IceQ X2 Turbo Boost). I tried to remove my older GPU and it didn't want to come out.

I removed both screws and detached the little plug near the motherboard but it didn't move that much and I'm affraid to apply too much pressure on the card. What do you think?

The other question is the new card uses 2x 6 pin PCI-E and my current PSU only has 1 PCI-E cable. Can I use an adapter like this one : http://www.systemagnostic.com/wp-uploads/2013/01/molex_...

Keep in mind I'll only be doing this while waiting to buy another PSU since my 600W is obviously outdated.

Thank you :)

You need to push on the latch, located underneath the card, to the right of the slot where the actual pins connect. It can be tough to get at.

A molex adapter should be ok, short term.
