Fast and Safe Virus Help

Hi everyone,

I was just going though my uninstall folder and saw Fast and Safe by GT Group. I have never had any symptoms of malware. but I tried to uninstall it and I got a weird error. I ran a MalwareBytes scan and it killed 160 odd items but no Fast and Safe. checked my uninstall folder again but It was not there!!

Does this mean that it is gone??

What do you think?

Probably. The "uninstall" tool found in the Programs and Features section is simply a link to the uninstaller that is packaged with the program. If the program is removed manually, or partially removed manually, the uninstaller may have been removed with it or the uninstaller may not complete its task. It will still appear in the Programs and Features section until you try and run it, at which point Windows will be unable to find it and/or complete it. It should prompt you to remove it from the list if this is the case.
