I have a keyboard, mouse, headset and monitor. I even have RAM that I think is pretty good as well as a case that I bought when I built this PC in 2009. I would like to spend roughly $1,000 on a new computer or just new parts for what I already have. My case is pretty dusty but it's also really big.

Graphics Card : EVGA 017-P3-1165-AR GeForce GTX 260 1792MB 448-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Motherboard : ASUS Crosshair III Formula AM3 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard

Processor : AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb Quad-Core 3.4GHz Socket AM3 140W Processor HDZ965FBGIBOX

Case : Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced - High Air Flow Full Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 and All-Black Interior

My RAM is PC15000 DDR corsair dominator 8GB I believe... With windows XP my computer just doesn't run games like it used to. This graphics card is horrible I think.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

I like what M0j0 is proposing, and he may wanted to say i7 4790k instead i7 4770k, but it would add a little bit of cost.

I actually have had it since I was in college a few years ago. It's like a win7 64bit professional student version or something.

I could probably buy windows 7 again or 8 or if there was an easier solution that would be appreciated too.

Will this all fit in my Cooler Master case?

Your case supports ATX boards and that one is an ATX board, so, yes, it will be fine.
