Hi,

The spec's are

windows 8
R9 270
FX 6300
MSI TA970
8gb's Ram
Sandisk 128gb SSD

I recently build this machine for a friend and it started right up and was working fine. I mailed it to him and when he tried to start it it can only boot in safe mode. Under Device Manager the monitor (Generic PNP Monitor) has an exclamation point next to it. The monitor and Display adapters say they are up to date. I did go ahead and download the drivers, but how do I install them in safe mode? Any ideas on trouble shooting?
Thank!

Also, how do I update drivers in safe mode? I'm in safe model with networking and when I try to update it fail.

Update: I was able to update Monitor driver , but I cannot update gpu driver.

No error, screen just goes black. I can only run it in safe mode. When I boot into windows normally it crashes, but boots in safe mode. I made a change to the registry so hopefully I can update drivers now. I cound't update driver in safe mode.
