Hello everyone! *This is my first post here

I have been having issues ever since I got my new GPU (EVGA Geforce GTX 750 ti). It only has one port for my two monitors, so I am forced to use my motherboard's monitor slot instead. However, whenever I do that (even when the monitor I have plugged into my EVGA is set as my main display), it uses my integrated motherboard GPU (Intel HD Graphics) instead.

Is there any way to fix this without having to buy a monitor with an HDMI port/restricted to one monitor? I'm running on a Windows 8.1 desktop, if that helps any. Thanks!

The DVI to HDMI adapter popatim mentioned will give you a second HDMI port to connect the monitor. The only drawback is you won't have sound on the HDMI cable.
