So, my TV that I ordered, the LG Electronics 47LB5900 47-Inch 1080p 120Hz LED TV, http://www.amazon.com/Electronics-47LB5900-47-Inch-1080...

is supported by an HDMI cable, but says that it runs at 120 hz NATIVELY, with an ability to reach 240 through some clearscan thing.

My question is, if I hook up the PC to the TV via HDMI, should I theoretically be able to still have it set to 120 hz? Or will it automatically go to 60, since it is connected to a PC?

Your video card will determine the refresh rate and Windows should recognize your TV.

It'll only support 60hz on a pc because graphics cards still only have hdmi 1.4.
