CX600M Molex Cable

I have a corsair cx600m PSU. Whenever I try to connect the Molex cable into the PSU my PSU just stops working. Is there a way to fix this with a different modular Molex cable or a new PSU because there are features on my case which can only be used with Molex, and I would like to use them. Thank you for your answers.

Don't connect cables with the computer on or even plugged in for that matter.

I didn't, but when I plugged it in my computer wouldn't turn on. I unplugged it, and it does. I tried plugging it back in, but it still doesn't work.

The PSU is defective , RMA it.

Try a different slot on the PSU.
Is the molex plug into another device when powering on? If so try powering on with the cable only connected to the psu
If the issue remains try another cable and repeat the steps above.

I tried all your suggestions, but it still won't work. As long as the Molex cable is plugged into the PSU somewhere it won't start up.

SR71 must be right, if under 30 days contact the retailer if over that contact corsair directly.
