How Do I Install Windows 8.1 OEM? Please help!

I've just built my first custom PC and want to install Windows 8.1. I'm trying to install it with the installation disk and I get to inserting my product key. The problem is I can't find it! Someone please help me! What is the process I need to do? Sorry I am very new to building PCs

There should be a sticker/label that contains the product key (25 digits and letters) on the cardboard holding the DVD.

I had one that was hidden in the DVD folder - but they all have a similar sticker for your code. Packaging changes a little from time to time.

also on some of the windows 8 packaging they put the code on a white 2 by 3 inch card in the side of the packaging.
