V
how to get 99% isopropyl alcohol
So a lot of people who are new to the whole computer thing don't know where to go to pick up the right kind of alcohol for cleaning their processor, and other components that may require cleaning from really pure isopropyl alcohol. Well I bet you are... See full content

First of all, the 3770k CPU is socket LGA 1155 and is not compatible with a Z87 motherboard. Get a 4790k and a Z97 motherboard instead. Also, a Corsair CX750M is not recommended for hardcore gaming. Get a SeaSonic, XFX, or Antec.

1st suggestion .... list ya components ... add links if so inclined but few will wanna risk RSI checking all ya links. :)

CPU is 2 generations old and besides not being socket compatible isn't saving you any money. You are spending $435 and this current generation combo from same MoBo line is just $10 more

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?Ite...

$150 is as a lot on HD space ... for $35 less you could have a 2 TB with a build in SSD that will boot ya box in 16.5 seconds as opposed to a HD's 21.2 and a SSD's 15.6. Avoid HDs like the WD Blue which sit in 63rd place on THGs hardware charts

Avoid single sticks, ya want 2 x 4GB. Faster memory, lower price

$87 - 10% off w/ promo code EMCPAPF35, ends 9/10 = $78.30

I'd read the reviews on the 760 before buying the EVGA

9.0 Rating EVGA
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/GTX_760_SC_ACX_...

9.2 rating MSI
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GeForce_GTX_760_...

9.1 Rating Asus
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/GeForce_GTX_760...

That 912 is a bit long in the tooth.... and no USB 3 Ports
